Our Community

Southaven began as a project of Memphis homebuilder Kemmons Wilson. It was developed with several residential subdivisions containing small starter homes just south of the Mississippi - Tennessee border.

Southaven became a city (formally) on April 15, 1980. It is located in North Mississippi and the county of De Soto.
